This project was commissioned by Sustrans with funding from Transport Scotland
This project is part of a series of art installations and performances celebrating Black History Month along traffic-free National Cycle Network routes in Scotland. Commissioned by Sustrans, the artworks celebrate notable Black people from Scotland’s history and key events that have made Scotland the country it is today, as well as highlighting Scotland’s role in the transatlantic slave trade. To find out more about the 8 artworks and where to find them visit www.sustrans.org.uk and search for Black History Month.
